Fundraising Goals

Zona K is a Non-Profit Association that has the goal of helping give children (50% of which we aim to be children of disadvantaged backgrounds) in the neighborhood of Palmarejo in Praia, Cabo Verde, the skills we believe are critical to allow them to thrive in the age of Artificial Inteligence.

We have invested much time, energy and resources over the last 2 years to bring our vision to life, having spent approx. 4,829,087$25 CVE (or ~48,290$ USD) in the past few months alone doing construction and getting furniture for the space.

Our main objective now is to purchase around 20 Laptop Computers (afordable laptops with access to Google's entire suite of software and AI apps for free) are around 300$-500$ USD per laptop. Below you will see a list of all the other items we need to purchase (Click the table to expand it): from things as little as silverware to as big as TVs - our community will be greatly appreciative of any and all help you can contribute. We need your help to get there, so please consider donating to our mission.

The total we want to FUNDRAISE for all the critical items we need to be able to open the space amounts to approx. 1,425,000$ CVE ( or ~14,427$ USD). Below is our banking information. Our Non-Profit’s bank account is in Cabo Verde, but international bank transfer fees could be bigger than some of the donations we will receive, so we have also put our personal bank account information in the USA, and in Portugal to facilitate transfers if that can avoid you being charged fees, and thus maximize your potential contribution and impact (we will make one final transfer from each of those accounts once we have collected all donations):
